Intro: Making a Clock From a Piece of a Log

I had this log a friend gave me and when I cut it I could not believe how beautiful it was. I decided a clock was a perfect project for a slice of it. Here is how I did it. You do not need a cnc you could easily and carve the numbers.

This is awesome, but why does it have a 1 on top? Shouldn't it be a 12?

Maybe it's a non linear scale, of some kind ...

... logarithmic, perhaps?
