Intro: Pneumatic Animatronic Lego Snake


I got bored...
For this instructable I needed two custom things to be made- this and this.

STEP 1: Materials

One...
  • Lego pneumatic air pump
  • Lego pneumatic valve
  • Optional-pneumatic air tank.
For each segment
  • Lego pneumatic tubing (about six inches)
  • Two lego pneumatic T junctions
  • One 15 hole lego technic beam
  • One pneumatic cylinder
  • One indescribable beam (see picture)
  • Three two unit long round pegs
  • Two round to cross pegs
  • One three unit long round peg

STEP 2: Assemble

Making the snake segments is simple. Just look at the pictures.

STEP 3: Assemble

You need to attach all the sections together. Once again, just look at the pictures.

STEP 4: Attach the Power

For this step, a picture is not needed.
1. Connect the air tank and/or pump to a valve.
2. Connect the outputs of the valve to the pistons.

nice! i would try it if i had more than 2 pneumatic rams, and an air tank. so how's about that 'ible on that air tank? =D good 'ible though. i like your name for the black peg things... WOOT LEGOS PWN!!!
