Intro: Spider Cookies

One of my favourite cookies to make for the holidays. Very good and very easy to do. Have fun! Makes approximately 4 dozen.

STEP 1: Materials

You will need:
1 bag of chocolate chips
1 bag of butterscotch chips
1 cup of salted peanuts
4 cups of chow mein noodles

Medium saucepan
Spatula
Cookie Sheets
Wax Paper
Spoon

STEP 2: Step 1

Turn on stove to medium/high heat.
Put both bags of chips into the saucepan.
Stir constantly with the spatula until melted and of a smooth texture.

STEP 3: Step 3

Measure out 4 cups of chow mein noodles and 1 cup of peanuts.
Put the noodles into the chocolate mixture and mix until covered.
Put the peanuts in and mix until combined.

STEP 4: Step 4

Using spoon and spatula, spoon out onto wax paper lined cookie sheets. Refridgerate until solid.
Freezes well.
Makes approximately 4 dozen.

STEP 5: Tips

Microwave Directions
Put chocolate and butterscotch chips into a microwave safe bowl and heat until smooth. Stir after every 30 seconds so it will not burn.

Smaller Cookies
To make smaller (and more) cookies break up the noodles into smaller pieces before adding to chocolate mix. You can also used chopped peanuts or any other kind of nut.

My wife is always telling me about these but could never remember just how to make them, thank you I'm gonna get awesome husband points for these

Your chocolate spiders are so tiny.
We make ours at least twice as big as that
Wow I'd never have thought of using dried noodles as a cookie base. I may have to try this, maybe with walnuts as I don't like peanuts...
