Intro: Suction Cup Camera Mount

In this tutorial I will be showing you how to make a camera mount out of a suction cup.
This make will allow you to put your camera in many different places while still being able to take awesome pictures.
This is an easy build and lets you stick your camera sideways, upside down or just right side up!
I hope you have fun and enjoy making this camera mount.

STEP 1: Materials

For this project you will need:
A heavy duty suction cup(better if you use one with a gripping handle like mine)
A screw about the same height of your suction cup*MUST FIT CAMERAS MOUNT
A drill
A hot glue gun

STEP 2: Drill Hole and Insert Screw

Carefully drill a hole about the same size as the screw through the bottom of the suction cup, and out through the top.
Put hot glue through the hole and push the screw all the way through.
*you might need to trim the suction cup with scissors like I did so a small portion of the screw is coming out of the top of the suction cup.
Then secure it in place with more hot glue.

STEP 3: Attach to Your Camera!

Simply screw your camera to the screw in the suction cup. Then you may place the camera and suction cup where ever you desire. (Tables, windows...etc.)
This mighty mount can hold slim point and shoots or even bulky dslrs!
Enjoy!

Nice idea! Would you be confident enough to stick your dslr to a vertical window?
I made one of these!! its amazing! i bought a heavy duty suction cup and i tried sticking it to a vertical window and it worked! but be careful! if your camera is too heavy i wouldnt risk doing so. good luck! and great invention!
I have stuck my dslr to a window, but i would not recommend doing so because the weight could possibly make the suction fail depending on the size of your dslr. But digital point and shoots work perfectly on windows. Thank you
