Intro: ✎ WEAVEN INNERTUBE PENCIL CASE 

this is a really handy pencil case, and look cool too.

STEP 1: WHAT YOU NEED

you need:
_inner tube
_thread and needle
_hammer
_nails
_scissors
_a flat piece of wood
_sewing machine(optional)

STEP 2: CUT INNER TUBE

cut inner tube in stripe, they can also be of different width

STEP 3: MAKE WEAVING

THE NAILS SHOULD NOT BE DEEP
_nail the first 2 strips (one perpendicular to the other) to the piece of wood(photo1);
_nail a third strip on top of the first strip, and then one under , nail them(photo2,3);do it until it will be wide enough for your need;
_nail a perpendicular strip, woven to the strip you put before,and nail it (photo4);
_keep going until desired area.

STEP 4: TAPE IT

remove nails gently and place small pieces of tape, do few nail at a time, and place immediately the tape or will undo the weaving.

STEP 5: CUT LEFT OVER

cut away piece that stick out, so you will have a nice outline

STEP 6: SEW

sew all along the outlines, by hand or by sewing machine ( see my instructable"tips to sewing bike innertube)

STEP 7: PLACE PENCILS

now you just have to place pencil in your pencil case: just insert the pencil in the middle under a strip (in one or two)

STEP 8: MAKE THINGS

you re done, whit this method you can make many cool things!
