So today I bought my own tool box, and I came up with the idea of making my own tool kit. Quite often, people come across the question about what a tool kit must consist of? Well today is your lucky day. 

I will be telling you what exactly, you should have in your tool kit. :)

However I don't have everything in my tool kit yet.

STEP 1: Long Nose Pliers

Long Nose Pliers or Needle Nose Pliers are used to bend re-position or cut wire.

STEP 2: Lineman's Pliers

Lineman's Pliers are used for gripping small objects and to cut and bend wires and cable wires. 

STEP 3: Wire Cutters/Strippers

The name gives this tools purpose away. They are mainly used to strip off the insulation from wires or cut wires simply. 

STEP 4: Hammer

Hammers are used for driving nails, fitting parts, forging metal, and breaking up objects into small pieces. 

STEP 5: Scissors

Scissors are hand-operated cutting instruments. Scissors are used for cutting various thin materials, such as paper, cardboard, metal foil, thin plastic, cloth, rope, and wire.

STEP 6: Slotted Screwdriver

A screwdriver is a tool for driving screws.

STEP 7: Phillips Screwdriver

A screwdriver is a tool for driving screws.

STEP 8: 31 in 1 Screwdriver Set

This precision screwdriver set contains 31 different screw heads and can be used to drive all sorts of  varying screws. 

STEP 9: Utility Knife

A utility knife is a knife used for general or utility purposes. The utility knife is suitable for general work such as cutting wire, paper or cardboard. 

STEP 10: Saw and Hacksaw

A hacksaw is a fine-tooth saw with a blade under tension in a frame, used for cutting materials such as metal or plastics or wood. 

STEP 11: Tongue and Groove Pliers

Tongue-and-groove pliers are commonly used for turning and holding nuts and bolts, gripping irregularly shaped objects, and clamping materials.

STEP 12: Hex Keys

A Allen key, or hex key is a tool of hexagonal cross-section used to drive bolts and screws that have a hexagonal socket in the head.

STEP 13: Open End Wrench

A wrench or spanner is a tool used to provide grip and mechanical advantage in applying torque to turn objects—usually rotary fasteners, such as nuts and bolts—or keep them from turning.

STEP 14: Box End Wrench

A wrench or spanner is a tool used to provide grip and mechanical advantage in applying torque to turn objects—usually rotary fasteners, such as nuts and bolts—or keep them from turning.

STEP 15: Small Screwdrivers

These screwdrivers are used for minute screws. You don't need these if you have the precision screwdriver set.

STEP 16: Soldering Iron

A soldering iron is a hand tool most commonly used in soldering. It supplies heat to melt the solder so that it can flow into the joint between two workpieces.

STEP 17: 10" Wrench

A wrench or spanner is a tool used to provide grip and mechanical advantage in applying torque to turn objects—usually rotary fasteners, such as nuts and bolts—or keep them from turning.

STEP 18: Meter Tape

A tape measure or measuring tape is a flexible form of ruler. Its flexibility allows for a measure of great length to be easily carried in pocket or toolkit and permits one to measure around curves or corners.

STEP 19: Tapes

Electrical tape or insulating tape is a type of pressure-sensitive tape used to insulate electrical wires and other material that conduct electricity.

STEP 20: Super Glue and Other Adhesives

Super Glue can be used to stick materials weighing tonnes to each other. It is known to stick in seconds. 

STEP 21: Electrical Tester

This tester has a thin end like a screwdriver enabling it to enter sockets to test current. It is insulated from the other end  to avoid the user from being electrocuted. 

STEP 22: Connecting Wires

I created these, and now I end up using them everywhere. 

STEP 23: Screws, Eye Hooks and Washers

We all know what these are used for. :P

STEP 24: Others

Newton Meters are mainly used to measure weights such as metal or wood. 

9V batteries are used to power up small circuits.

STEP 25: The Tool Box

I bought my tool box for approximately $15 (both of them).

DMM - Digital Multimeter for measuring electrical current (amps), electromotive force (EMF in volts), and resistance (ohms). Nobody should graduate from elementary school (USA) without understanding basic flow of electrons (and corresponding magnetic fields) that surround us in every light, switch, appliance, wire, motor, battery, alternator/generator, ...

Where did you get the newton meter?

they dont work and its dangerous to rely on them to make sure a circuit is switched off as they go to ground through you if a current is flowing, so if you arent touching the ground or are wearing rubber soled shoes it wont light up making you think the circuit is off.

They work perfectly fine here in Pakistan. In fact they are extremely useful in certain cases.
