Intro: Thats a Croc of Pansies

Cool planters for spring time only limited to the size of your feet. I bought the Crocks froom a thrift store for this project. There easy to make and a fun way to dress up your back yard.

STEP 1: Materials, Tools and Equipment Used

3- pairs of colored Croc's     Thrift store $1.00 per pair
6- 1" deck screws
1-14" coco liner                     Big box store  $1.48
assorted pansies                Big box $1.88 for tray of 6 plants

pair of scissors

drill and screw driver bit

STEP 2:

I cut a strip of the coco liner just big enough to cover the holes in the shoe.About 2.5" wide and 6" long For the Croc"s I had. These are small kids shoes adult sizes would take a much bigger piece. Fold and tuck inside shoe

STEP 3: Insert Flower

In the small shoes I had I only had to use the the soil that was on the root ball after it removed the flower from the tray  It came in. The bigger the shoes you would need to add more than 1 plant or more potting soil.

STEP 4: Screw It to the Fence

Next I used my drill and bit to drive the screw into the heel and into the fence. Thats pretty much all there is to it Hope you enjoyed this. and have a great spring.
Peace Ricky

very cute. This is a great way to recycle old crocks. I would add some child sized crocks. In addition, I would paint flowers etc. on them to add a bit of flare.

Adorable, love it!

In Mexico, a public transit buses had crocs bolted to the walls with stuff in them! Rotfl!

Love this idea, thanks for sharing!
