Introduction: Your Very Own Custom Minecraft Portal

About: I like building things

Hi guys, and I have a new minecraft contest entry, yet again, and if you like, vote, and if you don't, GET OUT. Anyway, Have you ever wanted to make your own portal, designed by you. Have you wanted to teleport anyone to your amazing coordinates or builds, well now it is possible! so Here it goes

Step 1: Building Your Portal

It doesn't really matter how, you build your portal, what does, is some coordinates. If you are building the standard 4x5 portal for the nether, then you need the bottom two floor blocks, and the two blocks above.

Step 2: Make Your Fill Clock

Build a fill clock, which you do by having the first two command blocks and putting in the command /fill ~1 ~ ~ ~1 ~ ~4 redstone_block, and the coordinates might have to be /fill ~ ~ ~1 ~4 ~ ~1, or just use negative ones. Multiply all of the ones by -1 and add clay at the end instead of redstone_block and put that in the second command block. Put a redstone block in between the command blocks to activate. If there is just clay now, then you have done something wrong. Then Put four command blocks touching the fill clock, with a one block spacing in between all of the command blocks, including the first two. Then put redstone comparators next to the four command blocks described previously, and put command blocks next to those.

Step 3: Commands D:

First, get the Coordinates of where the player will be when he goes into the portal. For the standard 4x5 portal, there are four possibilities, the bottom two if they walk in, and two above in case they jump. Get those and then in the four empty command blocks touching the fill clock, say /testfor @p[x=(x),y=(y),z=(z),r=0] and for all possibilities, use your differing coordinates, don't use the same ones. Then you are almost done.

Step 4: Easier Commands :D

Finally, For the final command blocks which you haven't used yet, put in /tp @p and where the person should teleport to, I just used 1 1 1 for all four. Use the same coordinates for all of the four command blocks

Step 5: Test!

If you did something wrong, you might not teleport. But to find out, jump into your portal and see where you are. to get back, review your chat history and find coordinates to teleport to in chat. Hopefully this helped! Have fun! Comment if you need help.
