Pocket Pipe

I was wondering if there was anyone out there that had one of these and could think of an improvised one and make in instructable, because 60$ is alot. I would also like it to be pocket sized, and able to hold ur " anonymous herb" in without leaking.

Get a solid lump of Alluminium shape it to your liking and drill one big hole for the "tobacco" and one long hole along the length of the lump. then light up!

sorry to rain on your parade, buddy, but check out the sobepipe instructable, and go down a ways, and you'll see that the solopipe ible is already up in the air. i will probably build one, even though i don't smoke.

pyro13 (author) in reply to sugg22Feb 6, 2008. 6:25 PM
Hey, you figured out how to make that pipe? Havn't heard from you for a while :P
sugg22 in reply to pyro13Feb 7, 2008. 3:48 AM
i have a perfect schematic drawn up, but i have to order a piezo lighter, or find a way to make one.
pyro13 (author) in reply to sugg22Feb 7, 2008. 1:48 PM
An electrically ignited one? i have 3 of them in my desk drawer i got for 1# good old Dollar Tree
sugg22 in reply to pyro13Feb 7, 2008. 7:20 PM
i guess i have to go there, then
pyro13 (author) in reply to sugg22Feb 8, 2008. 1:40 PM
Yeah they are "Elite Brands" electronic disposable lighter. comes three in a pack. They are the only brand that doesnt have a safety on it, so that is why i buy this brand. and they're cheap :D.
pyro13 (author) in reply to sugg22Jan 17, 2008. 6:28 PM
It's ok, i already saw it, i just wanted to start a topic on it so more people see it. And please inform me once you make one! I would like to know how! If not a build in lighter, at least a quality pipe that u can close up like that, and still have it homemade.
sugg22 in reply to pyro13Jan 17, 2008. 7:10 PM
what i'm gonna do is take my basic design, but make the bowl a 3/4 sphere, with one quarter missing, and make it rotate, so that it can be filled, lit, and stored with no spillage at all. i have the lighter concept pretty down pat. expect a post sometime really soon.
sugg22 in reply to sugg22Jan 17, 2008. 7:47 PM
actually, i did some experimenting, and decided that it won't rotate, as it will then be too large. the lid solution is going to be a thin magnetic strip - its easy to replace, hassle-free, cheap, and customizable. also, any suggestions on how to get the lighter to work and flip out are much appreciated, as my concept is not totally fleshed out.

Hey. you get that pipe up and working?

Doctor What in reply to GoodhartJan 17, 2008. 7:17 PM
Yes. It shows. We have a store downtown, that sells gasmasks with bongs attached, "for tobacco".
astrozombies138 in reply to Doctor WhatJan 19, 2008. 5:42 PM
bong = tobacco cooler shshsh
fungus amungus in reply to Doctor WhatJan 17, 2008. 10:18 PM
Y'know, that's not nearly as good an idea as it may sound.
Doctor What in reply to fungus amungusJan 18, 2008. 7:41 AM
Der. I didn't actually buy anything. They also have cans that aren't cans, but they can hold "tobacco" inside of them. Which could easily be made by yourself. But I'm not stupid.
Weissensteinburg in reply to Doctor WhatJan 20, 2008. 10:45 PM
There's actually an instructable on those somewhere around here!
pyro13 (author) in reply to WeissensteinburgJan 21, 2008. 9:51 AM
On what?
Weissensteinburg in reply to pyro13Jan 21, 2008. 10:21 AM
The cans with false bottoms for storing...stuff.

The only problem is that cops are trained to check those,
chaoscampbell in reply to WeissensteinburgJan 21, 2008. 12:17 PM
you really gotta check out your rights......... they can't just check.... they need a warrant or probable cause
Weissensteinburg in reply to chaoscampbellJan 21, 2008. 1:25 PM
I never said if you're walking down the street with a can of squeeze cheese they'll check you. But if the cops are searching your house, they will check for false bottoms in those cans. At our D.A.R.E. (anti drug thing) graduation, cops came in and spoke to us...brought dogs and motorcycles, etc. and one of them mentioned that.
chaoscampbell in reply to WeissensteinburgJan 21, 2008. 3:25 PM
lol....... if a cop has the warrent or cause to search your home...... your already in a world of trouble
Weissensteinburg in reply to chaoscampbellJan 21, 2008. 6:38 PM
And if you put your stash somewhere they'll find it...you're in even more trouble!
Goodhart in reply to WeissensteinburgFeb 6, 2008. 6:40 PM
The police want my STASH ???????

But, but why?
CyrusII in reply to GoodhartFeb 6, 2008. 8:51 PM
jealousy of course, coffee and donuts won't cut it anymore
Goodhart in reply to CyrusIIFeb 6, 2008. 8:56 PM
But my stash (last post link) is only TEA

i felt the urge to show a Kentucky fried movie scene, a movie second best to Airplane!
Goodhart in reply to CyrusIIFeb 7, 2008. 8:00 AM
Ok, that is why I didn't recognize it. I may have to look that one up :-)
Weissensteinburg in reply to fungus amungusJan 17, 2008. 10:24 PM
They did it on Knocked Up, OF COURSE it's a good idea!
whatsisface in reply to WeissensteinburgJan 18, 2008. 9:28 AM

sugg22 in reply to whatsisfaceJan 18, 2008. 9:37 AM
amazing movie! "I like your hair cut. What do you call it?" "Jew." I actually pissed myself when i heard that.
Weissensteinburg in reply to sugg22Jan 18, 2008. 9:39 AM
And you call yourself a fan? I love your curly hair! It's great... do you use product or anything? No..I use...Jew, it's called
sugg22 in reply to WeissensteinburgJan 18, 2008. 10:23 AM
i've only seen the movie once. sorry that i don't know every line by heart. but i DO know every single line from Billy Madison, Blues Brothers, Waterboy, and Beavis and Butthead Do America.

there's an accomplishment that will pay off in the future employment opportunities ( j/k'g )
sugg22 in reply to GoodhartJan 18, 2008. 6:52 PM
well, the expression used to be "That talent and a dollar and you can ride the Subway." Now its "That talent, two dollars and fifty cents, a full body cavity search, and a retinal scan, and you can ride the Subway." A slight exaggeration, but you get the point.
Weissensteinburg in reply to sugg22Jan 18, 2008. 10:25 AM
I'm ashamed to admit it but..I had to look it up for the exact wording. So don't sweat it =]
Weissensteinburg in reply to GoodhartJan 17, 2008. 6:44 PM
The solo pipe is for tobacco..it says so on the website.
zachninme in reply to WeissensteinburgJan 17, 2008. 6:47 PM
Of course its for tobacco! Then again, things have "undocumented" uses ;-) I heard about some roses or something that came in a plastic container that was used to make bongs -- gas stations & places sold them knowing their real use ;-)
Goodhart in reply to zachninmeJan 18, 2008. 10:01 AM
burrito or cigar ?

Weissensteinburg in reply to GoodhartJan 18, 2008. 10:06 AM
You've using all those pictures lately..i'm starting to think you're actually 12..
Goodhart in reply to WeissensteinburgJan 18, 2008. 10:13 AM
Huh, all what pictures lately? That is the first kitty one I have posted (as far as I remember, of course, I could be going a bit senile so maybe it is a return to my childhood ? LOL).

The bunny one I have had for a long time. He is such a cute little baby ;-)

But rest assured I practice pandiculation, so I am always trying new things :-)
Brennn10 says: Jan 17, 2008. 4:30 PM
I am not much of a supporter of smoking, it is bad for your health.
Weissensteinburg in reply to Brennn10Jan 17, 2008. 6:43 PM
hehe...did you learn a lesson from the sobe pipe ible?
Goodhart in reply to Brennn10Jan 17, 2008. 4:43 PM
Yes, and not an easy habit to relinquish either. I smoked for 25 years, and then spent 5 years and hundreds of dollars just to quit the filthy habit.
Doctor What in reply to GoodhartJan 18, 2008. 7:42 AM
But you don't look all wrinkly and disgusting.
Goodhart in reply to Doctor WhatJan 18, 2008. 8:51 AM
I quite in June of 2002; I have had time to recover, and I miscalculated, it was 20 years, not 25. Sorry about that. And one other thing, I smoked the most filtered, lightest brand out there; Now Ultra lights. Someone once said it was like smoking air, so I didn't get a lot of smoke to start with.....still it was very hard to quit.
Doctor What in reply to GoodhartJan 18, 2008. 11:19 AM
Well, good for you. Smoking sucks.
Goodhart in reply to Doctor WhatJan 18, 2008. 2:42 PM
I remembered after I quit, and got my sense of smell back, just how smelly it was before I started. Nothing like having holes in your clothes, car seats, and lungs because I chose to inhale pollution *shakes head*
Doctor What in reply to GoodhartJan 19, 2008. 5:37 PM
Not to mention it is bad for the environment.
Goodhart in reply to Doctor WhatJan 20, 2008. 12:57 PM
Yes, especially for those in the immediate vicinity.
Goodhart in reply to GoodhartJan 18, 2008. 8:52 AM
I QUIT in 2002, not QUITE sorry about that.
Goodhart says: Jan 17, 2008. 4:06 PM
I have a wee bit of experience with pipes (long time ago, and I am so glad I don't smoke anymore), so my comment would be: Good luck cleaning that pipe out. Pipes get grungy with each use and need a thorough cleaning each time. That one looks "difficult to clean" at best.
