an instructable on how to add pictures to be able to post an instructable

but instructables dosent seem to be allowing me to upload any photos

Actually, I've had trouble uploading images directly recently.

As a work-around, go directly to your upload page [link], and upload images to your library, then use your library to add images to your projects.

Perhaps the problem is associated to the OP's choice of a username?

Maybe originally, but it is an issue I've encountered recently myself.
