I'm sure that everyone has at least 1 pair of jeans that's out of style! You can recycle that out-of-date jeans into something that's up-to-date very easily. In this instructable I'll show you how to make a jean purse in few easy steps. It'll take about 10-15 minutes to make the purse. You can use an old pair of jeans, jeans skirt to make it.

Step 1: Materials Needed

To make this purse you will need:-
1) 36x24 cm piece of jeans,
2) Scissor,
3) Sewing machine,
4) Thread,
5) Sewing hook and
6) Wooden button.

Step 2: Let's Start!

Cut out a 36x24cm piece out of the jeans or any size you want.

Fold the jean fabric to measure and mark the main purse and the flap.

Cut two corners of the flap as shown in the picture attached to this step.

Now fold over the edges (of the flap and the lower part) and sew along them.

Step 3: Sewing the Sides

Now fold the main part up (to where the flip starts) and sew the both sides.

I stitched 2 times along the sides.

Step 4: The Corner

Sewing the corner is quite easy.

Hold the corner of lower part of the bag as shown in first picture of this step and sew a straight line along it.

Similarly sew the other corner.

Now turn the right side of the bag out.

Step 5: Attaching the Wooden Button

Carefully mark the buttonhole (according to the button size) on the flap and use a scissor to cut it.
Select a buttonhole stitch from the stitches available on your machine and carefully sew around it.
Now attach a button (I used a wooden button).

And the purse is ready! wasn't that easy?! :)
