How to put AP1 portal on your PSP

AP1 is a very cool portal for your PSP, and if you do not want this portal then you have to be a Nintendo lover. I will show you how to put AP1 on your PSP.

Step 1 Download

Download the file below and save it anywhere on your PC. Next extract the folder to your desktop.

 Thanks! I made it with Microsoft Notepad.. all hand coded! I made this a while ago, I've really advanced my skills, and I'm thinking about making another one, except I don't have a PSP anymore..

 did you write it in html and what is the like size of the screen

 the screen size is 480x272px. And yes I did write it in HTML.. I had gotten tired of my PSP and sold it, I really only used it for internet, and testing my portals on. But I might start working on another portal and I could have other people test it. it will take awhile though.. and I had another portal I had made a long time ago, and it had over 100 games on it, I called it VIPER. Although I deleted it, I'll have to go digging and see if I can find a back up of the files.. if I don't then I'll just maybe make a new one.

Oh neat i've never heard of this before. Also to take a screenshot on your computer you press the button on your keyboard that says"PRT SCRN (with some more text under it)" then you open up mspaint(or any paint editing program) and paste the image(Edit > Paste) Then you can save the picture. Also for the psp,There is a plugin(Custom firmware only (CFW) ) for taking screenshots on the PSP Also what is AP1 Portal? What does this do? Also i see you have the PSP 3000 Piano black,Nice.(noticed the button with the Playstation logo on it)

AP1 is a portal that has some cool game you can play right on it! And it has some cool apps, an internet browser that looks like safari, Instant messenger that you can sign in to multiple accounts, Neat flash movies, last but not least you can add your favorite links to it! I have it and its really cool.

• BTW _{I made AP1} ^{and another one called "Viper" is in beta and will be published on instructables by me. And it has} Over 100 Games!! Firefox browser and internet explorer browser AND the safari browser And More!!

 I'm so sorry for the late reply I guess I just didn't get the email about your comment.. but The games on this portal are flash games.. and you do not need CF (Custom Firmware or Crack) for a PSP portal because a portal is just an offline website that you run from your memory stick.. and you browse it through the built in web browser on the PSP.. just follow my instructions and you should get it to work

Will this work on a 2000 psp if so will this only come up when I go into internet browser. Just wanted to double check before downloading it to my psp.

 this works on the 1000, 2000, 3000 PSPs but the PSP go has a different screen size and it would look all ugly and funky. but to answer your question, the browser is the only way you can view it, and it won't do anything to your PSP, portals are like offline websites that have games and different features, just for fun.. the address you put in the browser to view it is simply pointing to the website HTML file. don't worry about anything happening to your PSP because it won't do anything, its just simply an offline website, and in order to view it then you must have the source files on your PSP so that you can view it and use it wherever you are, anytime of the day, and you won't need an internet connection, and another advantage is that you don't have to worry about the internet connection or wait long for it either because its all on your local memory stick.

 well its not a "program" as I said its just like viewing a website on the browser, when you close the browser you close the website! its not game file or anything like that, its all in the browser.. hope you like it

When i try to unzip the file with the default windows unzipper, a message pops up saying" please insert the last disk of the multi-volume set and click OK to continue" What does this mean??????

I don't know what that means but you should use a unzip software...
Jzip is what i use and its completely free and very easy and great to use

Well did you get the home menu up? and make sure you did not mess with the files in the folder or else you will have to download it again. (then again that wouldn't be such a bad idea.)

I am having trouble. when i downloaded the file it was not named ap1. i put it on my psp but when i type in the address it says content can not be displayed.

OK I think I know your problem you put the folder named "FLCPCRMFS8RCAJ3" on the psp, Inside that folder then there is the ap1 folder and you have to put that folder on the psp.

And make sure that you extracted the files first.

If it was not named ap1 then try naming it ap1. And make sure that it is the FOLDER that has all the html files in it.

Also i noticed that the textbox keys are the normal numerical type,To switch from that to a full keyboard press the SELECT button or the START button. No CFW is needed for this!
