Unless you have a good sewing machine you can make this all by hand in a few hours.

You will need:

It is a costume piece, but from what i have seen of antique ones, it is pretty close to the shape of what was worn, perhaps more on the motorcycle side, than airplane but it still looks neat with goggles.

Is the black hat in the second picture an authentic aviator  helmet?

Hey. Neat idea on the skull cap. I'm going to make one if I effin' decide on what I want to be for Halloween already. =P Anyway, where'd you get those bitchin' goggles? I've been trying to find some or find a tutorial on how to make some at least.

Shirts and pants are optional when at home! :D
CameronSS in reply to jessyratfinkJun 20, 2009. 8:52 AM
Only response I can think of to that: O.o

Well, they are! Especially during summer.

o.O
Aren't you a Flamer of Piggish Males? You're kind of inviting it here...
jessyratfink in reply to CameronSSJun 21, 2009. 5:32 AM
Saying that I'm "inviting" it is a very piggish thing to say, I think.

I wasn't inviting anyone to make judgments about what I wear when I'm at home, I was just making the point that it's totally normal to feel comfortable enough in your home to go without one if you choose! If you want to rock a aviator helmet and no shirt, I say go for it! :) I just didn't understand why your reaction would be O.o!
