Back to front and upside down. My folded book birth date has come out wonky! I've mad these books before and never had a problem but this one is unreadable! It's back to front and upside down. Can anyone tell me how to fix it? I bought the pattern online. Thanks in advance. And please don't tell me to stand on my head and read it!
Hi everyone,I have created a range of book folding patterns which include patterns for words, names, animals, weddings, halloween, children and lots more. I can also make custom words and patterns. Feel free to take a look at looksinviting.etsy.comHappy folding!Sharron

hello Im from iran and there is no way to recive patterns of bookfoldings i try to make them by photoshop but there is some problem whith the width and hight of the page please help me how to make a pattern i want to do this art it is impossible to have width in pixel and length in cm
I somehow got it wrong and had a heart on one side of the book so I ended up doing another on the other side - with a double heart as the finished product,
To answer your question, you start with the book in front of you as if you're reading it. Turn the book clockwise. Mark the pages with the measurements provided in your pattern. Each page is then folded where you marked it. Your pattern from top to bottom is folded from front to back of the book. You just follow the pattern for each page. I personally make several marks first then fold pages so I can see my progress. You do not fold the first page into the second page. Each page/fold is independen. I have made two so far and they came out great. You can always go back and correct a fold if it doesn't look quite right. Happy folding ☺ Maybe I should post a video.
This may sound silly but do you fold the right 40 pages and then repeat the process with the 40 pages on the left? Also I see the first fold but when you do the second fold does the first fold get folded into the second fold. I'm probably making this more complicated than it is but like I said I'm confused. Help Please......
I love the 'measure and mark' way to fold books I personally find it much simpler! I have just made the heart and it's come out really well. I added some red paper hearts on wire and gave it to my daughter, she loves it! Thank you ! I'm going to try the double heart now!
Could anybody tell me what height the book needs to be please? Thank you.
Needed a gift for Mum on Mothersday and couldn't find anything she liked so resulted to creativity, I folded two pages also but I overlapped them. I think it turned out well for my first attempt at book folding! Thank you!
