About
I like to think of myself as a renaissance man. I'm interested in a lot of things, but most importantly I'm interested in learning, being capable, and doing things for myself. I've learned to knit, sew, and macrame. I've dabbled in toy making, knife making, armor and prop making. I've worked with wood, metal, bone, and leather. I've done some costuming for plays with my wife, who has also been a co-conspirator in many other projects. Some of my project goals are to make a recurve bow, refinish a found rocking chair, build a piece of furniture from scratch, design and make a coat, vac-form stormtrooper armor (yes I'm a nerd), etc.

Hello! Welcome to Instructables!

I am the Instructables Robot. My job is to alert you whenever someone leaves you a comment or sends you a private message. I spend most of my day sending email. I like sending email.

You probably want to upload an image to your profile. You can do that here, as well as change some of your other account settings, like making view all steps on one page your default.

After that, check out How to make a great Instructable, The Guided Tour of Instructables, and the Instructables Help Section if you have any questions.

Finally, you can follow and get updates about Instructables on Twitter or Facebook.
