Toe drop splint? Answered

I have severed my sciatic nerve and have a permanent toe drop. I need a splint like device to keep my ankle at a 90 degree angle. I would like it to fit inside my sneakers. If somebody has an idea please share because my wrists aren't going to be able to handle my cane much longer.

How about a strap or cuff around your calf, then a short bungie cord hooked into your shoe laces to pull your shoe up?

Make a plaster mold of your foot, coat it with wax and make it out of fiber glass.

Many ankle braces on the market that would fit the bill. I suggest asking your doctor for good options.
