Intro: 1-Minute Cardboard Phone Stand (no Glue)

Materials needed:

  • your phone
  • single-ply cardboard (pick a color you like or just use your left cereal box)
  • scissors
  • pencil
  • rubber (optional - use it to remove pencil marks on the cut edges)

STEP 1: General Shape

Place your phone on your piece of cardboard und push it away from the edge (about the width of your thumb). Take the pencil and draw around the edges of your phone.

Use the scissors to cut out the shape.

STEP 2: Fitting the Width

Fold the rectangle in half and place it on the phone. It should be just a little bit more narrow than the width of your phone. Mark the edge and cut it off.

STEP 3: Final Shape

Draw the final shape onto the foldet piece and cut it out - that makes it symmetrical on both sides.

STEP 4: Finish It Up

Open it and fold up the bottom edge. Fold it in half again to finish your phone stand!

STEP 5: Use It

STEP 6: Take It With You

If you fold down the bottom egde of the phone stand it should fit into the back of your phone case. You can take it with you and put it up whenever needed!

Easy and successful, thank you! It also works with corrugated cardboard, and I covered mine in duct tape for durability
