Introduction: 1970 Wall Decoration
This is a design of what a 1970 wall. I made this in inspiration of Stranger Things 5. I love Stranger Things and I couldn't resist a good project. This is a good project if you love to design stuff. I made this in Blender. I also made an animation to go with this.
Supplies
You'll need Blender or a 3D design software. You'll also need a Sketchfab account. It's free, don't worry. You will also need a computer to do this all on.
Step 1: Making the Clock
You'll first need to make the clock. I just made a plane and cut it out from a reference image and extruded the cut. the dial was pretty easy because I just needed to find a picture online of a clock face and download it then make it the image texture for a circle. Then you need to add the texture to the clock. I found the wood texture on Polyhaven. Then you need to add the texture to the object. I at first wanted to make a pendulum animation but I couldn't because Blender couldn't add any keyframes for anything. i just ended up covering the pendulum part of the clock and just extruding the back of the clock.
Step 2: Making the Background
For this you'll need to go onto Google images and search up "1970 Wallpaper" and pick the beast one you see and download it. Then create a plane in blender and add the image as an image texture onto the Plane.if the plane only displays a fraction of the image just duplicate the planes and make 20 of them and make one big wall. Scale it to your desire. You're now done with the wall. Put everything on the wall and we're halfway done.
Step 3: Telephone
i didn't make this telephone. i wish I did, I just got it off of Sketchfab for free. It is pretty cool. You can choose to download it on many different file types but I downloaded the FBX of it. You'll then need to add the texturing that comes with the file. Rotate it 90 degrees and put it on the wall and you're almost done.
Step 4: Audio
i also added audio to my video. I simply went to my Youtube Audio Library and searched for a telephone ring and a Clock Tick and I found it. Audio is probably the simplest part of the whole project.
Step 5: Video Editing
After you render it you'll need to video edit this if you want it to be an animation. I simply just stretched the duration of frame one and added my audio in a volume 15.50. Then render out the video and there. You have a cool 1970 wall. please feel free to comment. I love it when people reach out to me for questions or comments.
