Where did you get the kit?

Just a bit of kind advice. Your soldering iron tip is shot! Get a new tip or at least clean it and then tin tin the tip. Second, use solder flux on your solder joints and the solder will flow better.

It is a nice device, but... 1) you are just assembling a kit, not sure this qualifies as an instructable. 2) please read an instructable on soldering, most of the solders you do are not very good, sorry.
