Introduction: 2 Part Tetrahedron Puzzle Made From Paper

This is a puzzle that I have seen a long time back at a friend's place. I have always wanted to have one of my own. But these puzzles were so costly that there was no chance to get them. So I went ahead and made one with paper.

Supplies

We need paper, scissor, scale, compass, and glue.

Step 1: Create the Shape

Make the shape of the half shape of the tetrahedron so that the shape can be wrapped around to create the shape. Please try to follow the image for making the arcs for distance. Make sure that the sides of the square and all the lines are of same length.

Step 2: Add Flaps to Glue

Make some flaps for gluing the shape together.

Step 3: Cut and Fold

Cut out the shape fold the lines to make the gluing easy.

Step 4: Glue and Close

Glue the long side first and then close the triangles to make the shape sturdy.

Step 5: Make Another One

Make another same shape using the same process.

Step 6:

You are done. Use the 2 identical shapes to make the tetrahedron. Use the square faces together to align the shape. Take it to school. Show it to friends. Have fun.
