Introduction: 30 Minute Vegan Stuffing
Looking for a quick stuffing for thanksgiving? Look no further! This stuffing is so quick and easy you can do it the day of with lots of time to spare!
And this one happens to be VEGAN!
Step 1: Ingredients
For this recipe you will need the following:
Bread (at least one good sized loaf)
2 celery stalks
2 carrots
2 c. of vegetable broth (i made mine from bullion)
Spices (rosemary, thyme, sage)
Step 2: Toast the Bread
First you want to toast your bread. I used an oven and cut the bread up into small pieces. Don't use stale bread, because then your stuffing will taste...well, stale!
Step 3: Prepare Veggies
While the bread is toasting, chop your veggies and saute them until soft.
Step 4: Add Veggies to Toasted Bread
Next add the veggies and spices to the toasted bread. Then add some broth to make is wet. Bake the mixture again for about 15-20 minutes at 300 degrees until it's nice and mushy.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
And that's about it! Enjoy your nice vegan stuffing for thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving!

As a Vegan myself, I usually have nutloaf with my roast dinner while I give my husband a normal meat roast, but it will be nice to try and use your vegan stuffing on the plate as well, with some vegan gravy. As lots of people like extra pieces of stuffing on their plate that is not actually in the meat - (so it can be extra with the vegan roast and the meat roast). looks good thanks for posting this recipe ☺ I use biona rye bread as my everyday bread in the Uk which is vegan.

Nice, I'll have to give this a try. I love Simply Organic spices too :)

No milk or eggs in that loaf of bread? Is there a commonly available brand we can look for?

Traditional French style breads are already vegan. Flour, yeast, oil, salt. That's all the ingredients you need to make awesome bread.

Perfect timing! The family was planning on eating a Vegan for Thanksgiving, but I know they can be kind of dry if you don't stuff them before cooking.

I clicked on this knowing someone would make this joke. Are you a middle aged accountant?

Nope. I'm a cannibal from the depths of the Amazon rain forest. WiFi and the internet have really opened up a whole new world for us here in the jungle.

The stuffing isn't vegan if it is in a turkey.

And it ain't "dressing" if it didn't come out of a bottle?
In PA, they call it "filling", even if it only fills a casserole dish.
Leftovers might be covered with "tin foil"
Of course, the leftovers go in the "icebox", even if the cooling power comes out of a wall socket.
