Lets make some aerators for the garden.

All we need is a 3D printer and some shoe laces

Supplies

3d Printer

Filament (preferably PETG)

Shoe or boot laces

Step 1: Slice and Print Your Aerators

Slice the provided stl files - you can go as large a layer height as you like - they don't need to look pretty!

Print the base and spikes - you can do both feet, or if you are a little unsteady on your feet, like me, just print one :)

Step 2: Slot the Parts Together

Slot the two pieces together -the spikes fit into the base snuggly

You can glue them together if you wish or keep them separate for easier storage.

Step 3: Lace Them Up

Using a shoe or boot lace, lace up your aerators

Step 4: Are You Ready to Aerate Your Lawn?

When you are ready to aerate your lawn, head into the garden and put your aerators on.

I tie my laces around my ankle for extra security

I use my aerators with or without shoes - both work well

Step 5: Aerate the Lawn

Gently step onto the lawn and push down, the aerators make small holes in the surface that help your grass grow

Walk slowly around your lawned areas making holes as you go - remember to pick your feet up a little more than usual to ensure you don't trip.

Step 6: See the Aerators in Action

Watch my video - they really work :)
