3D Printing a Chinese Character--世shi（世代 Generations）

The Chinese Character 世 /shi/ we chose means generations, a lignting candle represents three generations in a family. We hope that this piece of work can send out the message of cherishing the lovely family time. The newborn baby is the grandchild, man with a suitcase is the father, and man on a cane is the grandfather.

Step 1: 3D Modeling

According to our ideas, we made a 3 d model with 123 d software. The three characters in scaffold stand on a different platform but strung together to present an image of three generations.

Step 2: 3D Printing

According to the 3D model, we 3D printing out a shape of the candlestick of three generations with the proportion of 1:1.

Step 3: Further Improvement

After the completed model finished, a new idea came out that we can make the concept into a lamp with the light bulbs instead of their heads.
