3W Led Screw-in Light Bulb
Intro: 3W Led Screw-in Light Bulb
Hello, This is a project I did after recieving a 3 1W led constant current driver I got from ebay (2.00)
it uses
2 heat sinks I had lying around
Soda can top
3 1W leds with star base $2.00
Silicon glue (because hot glue always melts on me)
A dead CFL bulb (dont break the glass & dont stab yourself a flathead screwdriver and small hammer helped me open mine without breaking glass
Some heat shrink tube
$4 not super bright but I had fun and it is bright enough for what I wanted
I didn't get a picture of the driver inside of the bulb unfortunately but its not too hard to figure out with AC +/- become arbitrary with these drivers
It is fairly simple but can go wrong If you don't make some connections properly
I didn't do it but a CFL usually has a fuse on its wires and leaving that In would have been helpful
I'd like to build another one except brighter and more stable soon
