Introduction: 5 Min Soldering Iron Base
This is a simple and easy to make base for a soldering iron made in about 5 minutes or less!
Step 1: Materials
You will only need:
●A 4x2 wooden block
●A metal spring (I got mine from an umbrella)
●3 cable clips/nails
And a hammer as the only tool.
Step 2: Hammering
All you have to do is hammer the cable clips in place forming the same angle between them. You can do this while the spring is in place or add it when you are done.
Step 3: Done!
There you have it! A simple way to keep your soldering iron in place and away from accidents while soldering.

Awesome! You should probably build the base out of plastic/metal as the wood could be a fire hazard

My super high end 25w soldering iron isn't capable to build an epic fire hahahahahahaha
