This is my second project in an enclosure. It has two different circuits inside and two different power supplies. Although each circuit is connected to the same speaker. https://www.instructables.com/id/555-Mind-Mangler/
I liked their circuit so much that I decided to mangle it and make it interactive and even more annoying. It's easy to due, I just followed their schematic in the video to make my first one on a bread board. Then I got bored with it and wanted to add some interactivity. I sorta turned it into a single 555 atari punk console. I suggest hooking up 3 speakers for the best effect. But my box could only fit one.

Step 1: Download the Fritzing File

Download the Fritzing File and look at how it's connected on a Project Board.
It should be easy to follow.

Step 2: Prototype Time

In the schematic on the Fritzing file I added connections for additional speakers. This is also optional. I also soldered all of this to a nice little 300 point solderable breadboard I got from allelctronics.com. Buy one here. Pictures will be posted soon.

Step 3: EMI From Cardboard?

For some reason when I put the circuit into the cardboard box, it would either not work or do some weird things. Could it be EMI? So I made this holder for the circuit board out of Super Mini Dice I got from dx.com

Step 4: Extra Features

There are to wires connected to the each of the buttons contacts with bare contacts on each of them. They make a distortion sound when not pressing the button if you touch one or both of them. Also I used a 500K potentiometer. You can use 470K if you want to.
