Make some ghoulish goodies to satiate a feeding frenzy. Here are six deadly treats to tempt even the most anorexic high school cheerleader zombie.

Treats include:

Peanut Butter Eyeball cookies
Aniseed shortbread Finger cookies
Evil Eye Deviled Eggs
Chocolate Covered Marshmellow Ghosts
Red Velvet Brain Cake
Hot Dog Spiders

Step 1: Eye Poppingly Delicious: Eyeball Cookies

As all meat eaters know, the eyes are always the best part; they're squishy yet crunchy at the same time.
These eyeballs peanut butter mixed with rice crispies and powdered sugar coated in a delicious white chocolate. M&Ms and red food coloring add the final accents of a scary pupil and vericose veins. Who know something so gross could taste soooo good. !

Check out the recipe and directions so you'll know how to prepare your eyeballs once you've scratched them out of your victims.

Step 2: Finger Food, Mwa Ha Ha!

Check out these finger licking treats. These shortbread cookies use a mexican anise seed dough to give a little more spice and add some nice liver spots to the fingers. Almond slices and knife marks in the knobby knuckles make for a nice disturbing detail.

Step 3: The Devilish Eye

Deviled Eggs are always a party hit. I made these eggs which I was hoping to recreate the great eye of Sauron from Lord of the rings.

Using a basic Deviled Eggs Recipe I only modified it by adding food coloring, lots of food coloring.

When my eggs where hard boiled and I cut the eggs in half and separated the yolks out. I put the egg white halves in a pot with red and yellow food coloring to dye them a fiery orange and let them sit overnight.

I mixed up the yolk mixture, following my [http://forkableblog.com/?p=22 Deviled Eggs Recipe] but I added a lot of yellow and a bit of red food coloring to get the filling fiery yellow. I always use a pastry bag with a decorative tip to place the filling into the egg whites.

I filled the egg whites almost full of the yolk mixture. Then I dipped the tip of the pastry bag in some black food coloring and finished the filling off. The decorative tip helped spread the black dye in a star shape and then the extra black dye leaked around the edges making this very creepy effect. I also tried dipping the tip in red dye, but the black worked the best.

I garnished with slices of extra large black olives to create a snake like pupil. Its never been so fun to bring death and ruin to the great evil eye!

Step 4: Ain't Afraid O'No Ghost

We had a bunch of fun making these chocolate ghosts.

They are super easy. We melted white chocolate and paraffin wax in a double boiler. Then we prepared skewers of large and small marshmallows. We dipped them in the melted chocolate to coat and allowed them to dry.

We decorated them by dipping a skewer in red and black food coloring and drawing on faces and writing quotes of our favorite scary movies.

For the party, we skewered them into red cabbage halves to make them look like they were sticking out of purple brains! They were a big hit!

Here are more pics of our ghoulish buddies!

Step 5: Brain Cake

I vant to eat your brains! Mwa ha ha.

Halloween isn't complete without a brain shaped food. I'm not so excited about Jello, so I used my brain mold to make two delicious cakes. I had a bunch of white chocolate left over from the ghosts and eyeballs, so I decided to use the left overs to make a chocolate covered cake. I chose red velvet of course for the bloody interior!

Using the same double boiler method I used for the eyeballs, I melted my remaining chocolate and then spooned it into the mold coating it multiple times to make a thick shell. I had prebaked a red velvet cake and once the mold was coated in Chocolate, I stuffed the cake inside nice and tight. I had made the cake more moist then usual so I could get it to reform into a brain shape.

Once the cake was inside, I covered the bottom with more melted chocolate, and stuck it in the freezer to solidify. And my cakes were ready to be devoured.

Step 6: Scary Spider Hot Dogs

No kitschy party is complete without some sort of hotdog food. Here we made hotdog spiders wrapped in a savory cream cheese pastry.

Ingredients needed:
1 pack of hotdogs
1 c. butter
1 8 oz. package of cream cheese
2 c. flour
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup mustard dyed red
black food coloring
red food coloring
1 small bag of hard chop suey noodles
1 egg yolk

To mix up the cream cheese pastry:
cream butter together with cream cheese using mixer. Add flour, cheese and salt. Mix well. Add a bit of black dye to dough and mix to make dough black.

Take hotdogs and cut out a v in one side and slather with red mustard mustard to look like a bloody mouth.

Roll out the dough and brush with egg yolk. Wrap dough around each hotdog. Slice hotdog into five sections and place on a baking tray. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees or until cooked.

Take out of oven and allow to cool for a minute or two. Before totally cool, stick chop suey noodles into the dough to make the legs. Using the end of a skewer, dip in black dye and apply to faces to make eyes.
