Introduction: 9V Battery Lighter
Create a usable lighter with a 9v battery.
Step 1: Materials
-9v battery
-Rubber band
-Tape
-Scissors
-Steel wool (medium grade)
-Small Stick
Step 2: Safety Tape
Take 7 cm of electrical tape. Fold half a centimeter of tape back on to the tape, and attach the safety tape over the positive end of the 9v battery. This is to prevent the steel wool from touching both ends of the battery, so that it doesn't ignite.
Step 3: Steel Wool
Rip out strands of steel wool from your clump and twist it so that they become a loose thread with one end being rolled up.
Step 4: Attaching Wool to the Stick
Tape the end of the steel thread that wasn't rolled up to the small stick using tape.
Step 5: Attaching Wool to Battery
Pack the rolled up end of the steel wool thread into the negative end of the battery. Then tape it over so that the rolled up end stay inside.
Step 6: Final Touch
Put the rubber band around the battery so that you can tuck the small stick into it when not using the lighter.
Step 7: Try It!
Peel the safety tape off of the the positive end. Take out the wooden stick and move it so that the steel wool touches the positive end. The steel wool should turn red, so make sure to be careful not to come in contact with the wool.

Great light hack. You don't always have a propane lighter with you. So it helps to know a trick like this.
