cut the large bottle so that if put on your face there is a fit. Then cut off the top so that the hole has a diameter of two and a half inches.

Step 1: Making the Filter Case

Take a 2 oz water bottle and drill 10 small holes in the bottom. Then cut the top off so that the diameter is about two and a half inches

Step 2: Puting It All Together

to make the filter work you will first put a layer of cotton pads into the filter case. Then, a two inch layer of activated charcoal, and top it off with another layer of cotton pads

Insert the filter assembly into the bottom of the face piece.

cover the edges of the face piece with a thick layer of tap to create a better seal

And finally attach a string to go around your head from the face piece to hold the whole mask on. Do not tie the string permanently, make a adjustable tightener with a piece of cardboard.
