Tired of looking at a blank, boring wall? Why not make a tapestry? In order to make a tapestry, you must have the following items:

- Ablank sheet ( The size depends on how big your wall is and how much you want to cover )
- Paint ( Fabric paint works best, which you can buy at a craft store such as Michael's or Hobby Lobby )
- Apaint brush ( Available at Hobby Lobby, Michael's or Home Depot )
- Astencil ( You can purchase your own stencil at any craft store such as Michael's or Hobby Lobby, or learn how to make one at https://www.instructables.com/id/Make-your-own-stencil/ )
- A hammer
- Agrommet tool kit ( You can purchase one at any hardware store such as Home Depot )
   -Hardwood Backer
   -Hole Cutter
   -Grommet
   -Washer
   -Anvil
- Nails ( You want to make sure that the nails you use are long enough to hold the grommet and the sheet up on the wall. Also, the thinner the nail the better. You're less likely to see the nails if they are the same color as your wall. If you can't match the color, don't hesitate to spray paint them or simply paint them yourself)

Step 1:

Spread your sheet out on a clear, flat surface. Make sure that there is enough room for the entire sheet to lay down smoothly.

Step 2:

Place the stencil on top of the sheet where you would like the image to appear.

Step 3:

Set up paint. Depending on the thickness you want your paint to be, add a few drops of water to the paint.

Step 4:

Thoroughly rinse off the paint brush to allow the bristles to easily soak in the paint, which will make the paint easier to apply.

Step 5:

Paint over the stencil using as little or as much paint as you would like.

Step 6:

Continue step 5 until the entire sheet is covered. Make sure that you leave the same amount of space in between each image.

Step 7:

Let the sheet dry for about a day before you attempt to mount the sheet onto your wall. The fumes aren't toxic and the paint doesn't have an odor, so the sheet can dry inside your house where ever there is enough room for it to lay flat.

Step 8:

Get the grommet tool kit and mark off where you want to insert holes in the sheet so that it can be hung. The amount of holes you want to make depends on how large your sheet is. You should space the holes out evenly and make as many holes as you can so that the sheet doesn't fold into the gaps between the holes.

Step 9:

Place the hardwood backer underneath the sheet where you plan on making the hole. Then, place the hole cutter over the marked area and hit it with the hammer.

Step 10:

Place the washer rounded side up tightly over the grommet, there is a short tube-like part on the grommet for you to stick the washer over, after the washer has been placed through the hole in the sheet.

Step 11:

Once the grommet and washer are situated,place the anvil under the sheet where you want the hole to be. Then, place the punch on the anvil so that you can hit all of the items with a hammer.

Step 12:

Repeat step 11 until you have as many holes in the sheet as needed.

Step 13:

As you place the sheet up against the wall, which you will probably need someone else to help you with, make sure that the sheet is evenly centered on the wall and that the holes match up with where you want the sheet to be hung. Then, nail the sheet into the desire location.
