Introduction: A Slice of Cranberry Apple (Pi) Pie

A delicious and simple recipe for Cranberry Apple Pie using the digits of pi

Step 1: Watch This Short Video to Learn How to Make the Cranberry Apple Pie

Step 2: Notice That the Digits for the Measurements of the Ingredients Match the Digits of PI

Ingredients:
3 Green apples peeled and sliced
1 double pie crust
4 TBSP chopped pecans
1 tsp orange zest
5 ounces of dried cranberries
9 TBSP sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
6 dots of butter

Step 3: Assembly

Set aside the pie crust and butter.

Mix the rest of the ingredients together in a large bowl.

Pour the filling into the pie crust.

Dot with the butter.

Put the top crust on the pie. Crimp the edges. Vent the top crust.

Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, then reduce the heat to 375 degrees and bake for 45 minutes or until nicely browned.

Let rest for 10 minutes.

    That is super clever! I don't know if I would have caught the fact that the ingredients are the first 7 places of Pi....

    This looks really tasty, but I have to say that my favorite part of this instructable is that the ingredients are the digits of pi.

    I am curious though, how much is a dot of butter?

    well, I would say that a dot is more than a pinch, but less than a tsp  : )
