Add a POCKET to Your Cycling Jacket!!

Introduction: Add a POCKET to Your Cycling Jacket!!

I cycle A LOT!! I'm a commuter, mountain biker, and all around BIKE GUY! I bought this nice cycling jacket that keeps me WARM and DRY during inclement weather. The thing is it only has ONE pocket, and its in the back. This left me with no place for KEYS, SUNGLASSES etc...

Step 1: Supplies...

1. A jacket than you don't mind cutting up (helps if it has pockets)

2. Fabric Glue

3. Scissors

4. Marker

Step 2: Cut Out the Pocket...

Separate the pocket from the old jacket...

Step 3: Trim It Up...

Trim up the pocket, getting rid of excess material, and shape it to fit your NEW jacket.

Step 4: Fit It...

Cut it to you liking, and glue it to the inside of the jacket. Try to keep as many of the already sewed edges intact.YES, this glue is very strong, and will last!

Step 5: Complete...

This pocket is for my SUNGLASSES, but it works so well that I am going to put another one for my keys on the other side!! RIDE ON!!

Good idea. I never thought of gluing fabric like that but it should work. Thanks for sharing.
