Adirondack Chair From Pallet Wood

I have only been woodwoorking for about 3 months now and this is my first attempt at making the Adirondack Chair, or any chair for that matter.

I had a difficult time locating exact dimensions or patterns online for this particular chair so I had to just kind of "wing it" on certain parts. There are trace-on patterns that you can purchase to make this much easier, but where is the fun in that?

It is a mixture of various thicknesses of pallet wood and ply wood as that is what I had laying around to try this and is also the reason for the color differences in the wood.

Step 1: Gather Your Tools

The tools I used for this project were:
-Measuring tape/square
-Pencil
-Jigsaw
-Circular saw
-Cordless drill w/ screws ranging from 1 1/2" to 3"
-Belt Sander or other sander
-C-Clamps (not mandatory but they definitely help with assembly)
-A LOT of patience

Time for a test run!
This chair is fairly light, very comfortable, and is perfect for lounging around in. I have yet to finish sanding and staining/painting mine but I am very happy with the outcome of this project so far.

I will be updating this Instructable over the next day or two with the cut list and any other information I feel may be beneficial.
