Introduction: Alaskan Pallet Planter

Do you have an old pallet lying around that you don't have a use for? Do you need a new outdoor rustic planter? Well try out the easy to make Alaskan Pallet Planter.

Step 1: Needs

Wooden Pallet

Hammer

Pry bar

Saw

Flex seal

Optional:

Sand paper

Paint

Step 2: Disassembling the Pallet

Remove 2nd and 3rd boards from one side of pallet.

Remove nails from boards carefully so they can be reused.

Step 3: Assembling the Sides of the Planter

Place one of the removed board against board 1.

Step 4: Reusing the Nails

Reuse nails to resecure board to pallet.

Step 5: Placing Bottom Board

Cut supports of pallet flush with newly assembled boards using a saw.

Place the last removed board on the end of the supports of the piece you just cut. Resecure this board using the removed nails.

Step 6: Finishing the Planter

Spray flex seal on inside of newly assembled planter to make it watertight.

Let dry.

Sand and decorate outside of planter as desired.
