Introduction: Albuino Chicken
Hey there!
This is my first project with arduino which I gladly like to share with all of you.
Basically my "Albuino Chicken" is an alarm system, the sonar sensor registers any object within range which will trigger the chicken. The LED's will start to lighten up and the chicken will start making a beeping sound.
Enjoy!
Step 1: What Do You Need?
Here's a list of things you will need:
For the technical part:
Arduino Yun + software ( Download here: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software )
2 RED LED's
Sonar sensor (HC-SR04)
A buzzer
Breadboard
2 Resistors (220Ohm)
Wires
For the chicken part:
Cardboard
Scissors
Superglue for cardboards
Pipe
Step 2: Connect the Wires
For this part you should take your arduino out and start connecting all the things!
You can use the diagram and the picture to rebuild everything you will need tot make things connect correctly.
Be careful, you don't want to break or burn anything, take your time!
Note: In the diagram I used a infrared sensor because the library of the program (Fritzing) I used didn't have a picture of the right sensor.
Step 3: The Code
Open up your Arduin software and download my code.
Don't forget to set it to the right board, you can do this under "Tools" and then select "Arduino Yun.
Also make sure it connects to right USB port when connecting your Arduino to your PC to upload the code.
Last but not least, verify and then upload the code.

Step 4: The Chicken
Now comes the part where you build te chicken. In order to this you will need cardboard, superglue, scissors or a knife to cut the cardboard and tube.
Look at the blueprint I made for the sizes of all parts.
Step 5: Enjoy!
Well, that was it! I hope everything went alright and that you are now looking at your home made Albuino Chicken!
Don't hesitate to ask me anything about this project and do try new things.
