Introduction: Alfredo Sauce
Sorry for the Lack of Photos. At the time I made this, it was pretty much on the Fly!
List of ingredients:
Wedge of Parm Cheese
Granulated or Powdered Garlic
2 Cups of Whipping Cream or 1/2 and 1/2
1 Stick of butter (Real Butter Land o Lakes) Works the BEST IMO
Linguinie Noodles
Step 1: Step 1: Grated Parm Cheese
Grate a wedge of Parm cheese into a bowl.
Step 2: Step 2: Melting the Butter
In a Skillet on low Medium, Add 1 Stick of Real Butter to the Skillet. Let it melt, then add 2 Tablespoons of Garlic Powder/Granulated.
Add in 2 Cups of Whipping Cream Or Half and Half.
Let simmer about 5 minutes.
Step 3: Step 3: Adding Cheese
Add in 2 Cups of Grated Parm ( 1 Wege Grated is = to 2 Cups)
While stiring while adding so no lumbs will occur.
Simmer Sauce for about 10 to 15 minutes on Low medium. This will help reduce the liquid and thicken it up and keep it from being grainie.
While the sauce is going, this is the perfect time to get the water boiling for the Linguine Noodles.
Step 4: Step 4: Add Sauce Over Noodles
After the sauce has simmered for around 10 to 15 minutes. And the Noodles are finished, it's plating time.
Add a pile of noodles and Ladle over the Alfrado sauce onto the noodles.
In my Opinion, this is as close to Olive Garden you will get to a Great Alfrado sauce!
Hope you enjoy and give it a try, very simple and very easy to make
I'd like to Apologize yet again for the Lack of Photos, this is what I've already had in my Photo collection, when i get around to making some more, I'll Revise this Instructable with more Photos!

Save about a cup of the starchy pasta water after noodles are done, use to thin sauce or for reheating sauce separate from noodles.

I always keep my Sauce Seperate, I NEVER Add the sauce to the noodles and put in the Fridge.
Being a Cheese sauce, you are right, reheat in a Skillet on low, but I would however add a little milk and water mixture, bring to a simmer, if to thin, simmer a little longer to reduce the liquid content, this will thicken without any other startches or flower needed since this isn't a flour sauce.
Thanks!

Yum! I love Alfredo sauce. This sounds like it would make a lot. How many people do you think this recipe would serve? Thanks for sharing!

I have a Family of 3 and I can put it away, so it makes enough probably for 4.
If your family don't eat as much as mine, you could probably get at least 6. I use about 1/2 cup myself maybe little more.
I fix 2 lbs of Fettichini Noodoes or Linqunie Noodles as you seen on the Intro Photo, that was my Plate LOL and probably bout 1/2 cup of sauce, i didn't really measure it, I like my noodles saucy.
