Introduction: Apple Crumble Pie 🍏
Easy, cozy, and crunchy — made by a 9-year-old chef. Yield: 4 small individual crumbles (or 1 large 8″/20 cm dish).

Supplies
Filling:
– 4 apples
– 1,5 tbsp sugar
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1 tsp cinnamon
– Juice of ¼ lemon
Crumble Topping:
– 100 g flour
– 70 g oats
– 85 g butter
– Pinch of salt
– 1,5 tbsp sugar
Decoration:
– Caramel sauce (quick recipe https://youtube.com/shorts/IQCd0Ds4ETg)
– Almond flakes
Step 1:
1 — Prepare the apples
Peel, core and slice the apples into bite-sized pieces.
Step 2:
Put the apple slices in a mixing bowl and sprinkle with the juice of ¼ lemon (this prevents browning). Toss to coat.
Step 3:
2 — Make the filling
Add 2 tbsp (≈25 g) sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1½ tsp (≈7 ml) vanilla extract to the apples.
Step 4:
Mix well so the slices are evenly coated. Set the filling aside.
Step 5:
3 — Make the crumble topping (dough)
In a separate bowl combine 100 g flour, 70 g rolled oats, 3 tbsp (≈38 g) sugar, and a pinch of salt.
Step 6:
Cut 85 g cold butter into small cubes
Step 7:
Add the butter to the flour, oats, sugar, and salt. Rub it with your hands until it becomes fine crumbs.
Step 8:
4 — Assemble
Take your ovenproof dishes (individual ramekins or one 8″/20 cm dish). Fill each dish about two-thirds full with the apple filling.
Step 9:
Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples to cover — aim for about one-third crumble : two-thirds apples by volume. Press the topping down gently (do not compact it too hard).
Step 10:
5 — Bake
Bake at 350°F / 180°C for 30–35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
Step 11:
6 — Finish & serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Drizzle with caramel sauce (see your channel’s shorts recipe 👉https://youtube.com/shorts/IQCd0Ds4ETg) and sprinkle almond flakes on some portions if desired. Serve warm.
