Introduction: Apple and Cranberry Crumble (Air Fryer, 1 Serving)

I picked up some Cranberrys on discount after Christmas, I also had some apples so thought I would try that combination in a crumble.

Supplies

Ingredients

Filling

3 Apples Peeled, cored and diced, approximately 250g (I used Braeburn's)

100g Cranberries

Half teaspoon sugar

2 Tablespoons water

Topping

75g Flour

25g Margarine

25g Brown sugar

Half teaspoon Cinnamon

Half teaspoon Ground Ginger

Equipment

Air fryer

Microwave capable of 650 watts

500ml microwaveable casserole dish with lid

13*10.5cm Foil tin

Mixing bowl

Step 1: Topping

Weight out ingredients and place the flour and margarine in the mixing bowl. Wash your hands then rub the flour into the margarine until it combines, depending on which other cooks you read the final consistency should resemble sand or fine breadcrumbs. Finally add in the sugar and spices and stir together.

Step 2: Filling

Place the apples, cranberries, sugar and water in the casserole dish and cover with the lid, then microwave at 650w for 4 minutes. Leave the the lid on and allow the fruit to steam itself cool.

Step 3: Assembly

Layer the fruit at the bottom of the foil tin, pressing down a little to create a smooth surface.

Cover the fruit with the crumble topping and even out and smooth the surface of the crumble with a spoon.

Step 4: Cooking

Pre heat the air fryer to 155 Degrees C.

Cook the crumble at 155 Degrees C for 28-36 minutes .

Leave to cool for a while then eat, perhaps with some custard.
