Step 6: Wash
After printing the rest of your panels, use Inkowash to rinse out any undeveloped dye.
Step 7: Make Pattern
Use thick paper, a pencil, and scissors to shape a pattern for each fabric panel. Make sure the panels are roughly half an inch bigger than needed in each direction.
Step 8: Cut
Trace each pattern onto the printed fabric. Carefully cut out all the panels. We’re getting close!
Step 9: Fold
Fold over all of the panel edges until the panel is the exact size and shape needed. Finally, iron the edges so they stay in place.
Step 10: Tip!
If your sewing skills leave something to be desired, consider asking a friend you help you out. We got a helping hand from our friends at Apliiq.
