Introduction: Arduino LED Skateboard. VERSION 2

According to the latest work that I've done, which was the LED skateboard. I found out that a lot of people actually liked it. So for my final project. I'm going to do a version 2. The thing that I changed is to add the photo resistance to combine with the LED strings. So when you step on the skateboard, the LED string will light up. And when you pick up your skateboard, the LED string will not light up.

Supplies

1. Arduino USB cable X1

2. Arduino Uno X1

3. Portable charger X1 (any portable charger)

4. Laptop X1 (Any laptop )

5. Breadboard Jumper Wires (10cmX2, 20cmX3)

6. LED light strip (Waterproof white drip rubber, 60 pieces lights, 200cm)

7. USB to DuPont head 1x2P power X1

8. Breadboard X1

9. Tape to stable the portable charger and the board.

10. Skateboard

11. Soldering Iron with Deluxe Stand X1

12. Photoresistor X1

Step 1: Cut

Cut off a small piece of breadboard jumper wires from one of the sides.

Step 2: LED → Breadboard Jumper Wires

Connect the breadboard jumper wires with the LED light string using a soldering iron.

Step 3: Connect Wires on Breadboard

Connect the breadboard jumper wires and the USB to Dupont head 1x2 power or with the breadboard.

Step 4: Stick

Stick the LED strings on the side of the skateboard.

Step 5: Coding

This is the code where you can just download and connect with your laptop and LED string by touching the photoresistor.

Step 6: LED → Portable Charger

After connecting your LED light string with the computer and sent the code to the Arduino UNO, you can connect the USB to DuPont head 1x2P with your portable charger as the picture shown below.

Step 7: Tape

Use tape to stick the whole board and the portable charger underneath the skateboard, so while skating, it works at the same time.

Step 8: Finish Product

And this is how the version 2 LED skateboard works!!!

It makes the LED skateboard better.
