Supplies

soldering iron, hot glue gun, cables, white baking paper, power drill

Step 1: Teardown

Step 2: Circuit Board

loosen the screw and remove the whole circuit board. Pull out the connector of the motoe. Cut the circuit board on the marked places and remove the crossed sections. We are only using the chargingport, the switch, the red LED and the pushbuttons. Screw the remaining parts on the plasticholder.

Drill holes in the back of the Lightsaber for louder Sound.

Step 3: Wiring

Wire everything like the diagram.

Step 4: Blade

Print the two parts in clear material and add two buttons.

Glue two Led stripes with 111 LEDs back to back and let two wires pass between them for the buttons.

Hot glue the Pipe into the handle, wrap the led strip in white baking paper and push it in the Pipe.

Connect the wires and glue it on the top.

Step 5: Code

Upload the Code to the ESP32 and add the mp3 files to an "mp3" named folder on the SD Card.

(Code is in development and far from being perfect)

Build everything back in the handle and screw it together.
