Introduction: Armband With Temperature Sensor and LEDs

In this project, I made an armband that features a temperature sensor with LED lights involved.

Step 1: The Parts: What You'll Need

  • Arduino Board
  • Breadboard
  • Jumperwires
  • 3 resistors (220Ω, colors should be red-red-brown)

  • 3 LEDs (any color will do)
  • Temperature sensor (preferably LM35)
  • 9V battery
  • 9V battery holder (with switch)

All can be purchased on https://www.adafruit.com/

Step 2: Adding the Parts Together (including the Jumperwires)

Add your parts including the jumperwires together on the breadboard. The other end of the jumperwires should be the only thing plugged in to your arduino board (not counting the 9V battery pack).

Step 3: Coding Using the Arduino Program

Step 4: Wrapping Your Bread Board and Arduino With a Long Clothes

Get 2 long white clothes or long white bandages (can be found in first aid) and wrap your boards around them. Use 1 clothe or bandage for each board and don't cover the LED lights, wrap them around.

Step 5: Plug in Your 9V Battery Into Your Ardiuno

Plug your battery in and make sure everything's wired correctly and see how your cast feels.
