Introduction: Art Competition!
The school was hosting a Art competition to spread awareness to the library and get more kids involved and active in novels. I saw it as a good opportunity to join as their were no limit upon entire as long it relates to a novel and off screen. Its a good way to get creative and come up with unique ideas for the library. This instructable is how I made a 3D unique object for this Art competition.
Supplies
-TinkerCAD
-Pen/Pencil
-Paper
-3D printer
Step 1: Designing
In this step I started designing ideas on possible themes I could begin with. I decided to go with Harry Potter as very iconic and classic theme that stands out. I used recognizable props that are easily recognize such as the witch broomstick or a wand. I wanted to make it unique as possible, as if it was popping out of a book so I drew a book at the bottom and figures appearing as if it floating and about to appear in real life.
Step 2: CAD
After designing using the reference I drew I went onto TinkerCAD and started modeling the pieces in the CAD software.
Step 3: Print
Now that you have the file, import the image you made and start to print it out.
Step 4: Prize
After handing the model into the library (sorry I didn't have a picture, I will try to update this asap) the library had mystery guesses to come in and judge everyone else art work. I finally got my results and I placed the top three! I later received a certification on my entry into this contest for my contribution for the school public library.
