Basis for calculating Vimshottari Mahadasha in Vedic Astrology and brainwaves are compared and connection between them is arrived at...

Step 1: Vimshottari Mahadasha in Astrology and Human Brain Waves

There are at least 43 different dasha systems in Vedic Astrology. Vimshottari in Sanskrit stands for the number 120. Vimshottari is the most popular Dasha system.

During ancient times of the rishis, life span of a human was considered to be 120 years.

Ashtottari Dasha is applicable if Rahu, who is not in lagna, is in a quadrant or a trine from lagna lord.

Vimshottari Dasha assumes that the maximum duration of life of an individual human being is 120 years which is the aggregate duration of all nine planetary periods i.e. Ketu 7, Venus 20, Sun 6, Moon 10, Mars 7, Rahu 18,Jupiter 16, Saturn 19 and Mercury 17, in the order of their operation.

Basis for fixing the Vimshottari Mahadasha years has to do something with the human brain waves.

Step 2: Astrology & Brain Waves Explained:

Basis for fixing Vimshottari and Ashtottari Mahadasha years:

Between birth and two years old, the human brain functions primarily in the lowest brain wave activity, which is from 0.5 to 4 cycles per second. Child is in delta stage.

From about 2 years to 5 or 6 years of age, a child begins to demonstrate slightly higher EEG patterns. These brain waves are called Theta waves and they can be measured between 4 to 8 cycles per second.

So in a Kaal Purush Kundli (Original Base Chart and Base Mahadashas), the child like Ketu is placed first and its years are fixed as 7.

In earlier times, marriages were also arranged in very early stage of life. So Venus Dasha is fixed after Ketu and this Venus Dasha lasts for the next 20 years.

Thereafter, your mental state, for next 6 years, becomes that of a father, a leader, a provider. Starting from age 27 (7+20=27) upto age 33 (7+20+6=33).

33 Hz (cycles per second) corresponds to Christ consciousness and the Pyramid frequency. So for next 10 years (Age 33 to 43), you are in moon phase, the moon being ruler of the mind.

After 10 year moon period, a 7 year Mars period starts, till age 50.

A benefic Mars – or a well-placed Mars in one's Horoscope, can make the native courageous and a Purushaarthi – that is, hard working and passionate, while a malefic Mars – or an ill-placed one in a Horoscope, can make a native a robber, dacoit or even a illegal trafficker or smuggler.

Just compare this Mars in astrology with brain waves of 40+ Hz!!!

Having efficient 40 Hz activity creates a good memory also dominant in problem solving. Important for information and high-level information processing. A lack of this frequency can create learning disabilities.

From age 50 to 68, 18 year Rahu Dasha is prescribed in Vimsottari Dasha system. Compare this with brain waves. At 55 Hz brain frequency, the consciousness state is of Tantric yoga which stimulates the "kundalini". This is the Rahu-Guru period at age 55 as per Base Vimshottari Mahadasha.

Similarly for Jupiter and Saturn Dashas.

The last Mahadasha is considered of Mercury (Budh). The last Antara Dasha in Mercury would be Saturn. The last Pratyantar Dasha would be of Jupiter (Guru). So Mercury-Saturn-Guru period should be considered as of physical death or mental detachment or salvation.

During ancient times, brain frequencies would increase gradually and that would prolong life. In today’s times, people prefer a short and merry life. The younger brains work (karma) overtime, decreasing life span (result).
