Introduction: Automata (motorcycle)

I will show you how to make a cardboard motorcyle that moves.

Step 1: Cut Three Evenly Spaced Slits Into a Piece of Cardboard.

Step 2: Fold the Cardboard Into a Box and Secure With Tape.

Step 3: Make a Hole in the Side of the Box.

Step 4: Cut a Dowel to the Desired Length and Make Sure That It Fits in the Hole.

Step 5: If Desired, Tape a Small Strip of Cardboard to the Dowel to Make a Handle.

Step 6: Next, Cut Two Cricles From Cardboard and Poke a Hole at the Center of One of Them.

Step 7: Cut a Shorter Dowel and Make Sure That It Fits the Hole in the Wheel.

Step 8: Take Two Eye Screws and Screw Them Into the Top of the Box. Then Cut a Hole in the Top of the Box.

Step 9: Cut the Frame of the Motorcycle Out of Cardboard.

Step 10: Next, Find a Washer Big Enough to Fit the Dowel and Glue It to the Bike. Also Glue on the Front Wheel.

Step 11: Finally, Put the Rubberband Over Both Dowels and Slide the Washer Over the Dowel So That It Sits Next to the Back Wheel.

Step 12: Crank the Dowel and the Back Wheel Should Spin.
