Automated Data Collector From Indoor AQI Meter Using MATLAB Image Processing

My task was to build a system that would take images from an air quality meter screen using a webcam and store those data serially on an Excel file. This project was built to collect hundreds if not thousands of air quality data from indoor for research purposes.

The meter shows the HCHO, TVOC, Humidity, and CO2 concentration of the room. Since a normal webcam was used for data collection two magnifying glasses were attached to ensure proper focus.

This particular project can be copied to collect data from different meters or instruments. The Matlab code was optimized highly to ensure 100% accurate data collection.
