Hello there,

In this instructable I'm going to show how to make this very simple a beautiful wall art piece of Batman String Art.

String art or pin and thread art, is characterized by an arrangement of threads strung between points to form geometric patterns or representational designs.

String art has its origins in the 'curve stitch' activities invented by Mary Everest Boole at the end of the 19th century to make mathematical ideas more accessible to children. It was popularized as a decorative craft in the late 1960's through kits and books.

Step 1: Tools & Materials

Below are few basic and necessary Tools & Materials that will be needing in this tutorial,

TOOLS

• Hammer
• Nails
• Scissor
• Brush

MATERIALS

• Thread (white)
• Superglue
• Plywood Board
• Black Paint

Step 2: Prepare a Base Board

Here I took a plywood board of 12x9 inch size and painted it black in color.

Step 3: Prepare the Art

I took a print out of the art piece and cut along the edges, so that nailing becomes easier.

Step 4: Nailing

Now, Hammer the nails all along the border lines at the same height. Keep the nails as close as possible.

Step 5: Cording

Now is the time to start the threading process. Keep patience and loop the threads all along the nails.

Step 6: Finished Product

So, this is our finished Batman String Art.
