Introduction: BBQ Pulled Pork
A delectable slow cooker pulled pork.
Step 1: Ingredients
1 pork roast (approx 3 lbs)
1 12oz bottle IBC root beer
barbecue sauce
Step 2: Getting Started
Put roast in slow cooker with root beer and cook on low for 7 hours.
Step 3: Mix It Up
Drain root beer, taking care not to lose pork as it will be falling apart at this point. Add barbecue sauce and stir with wooden spoon to break it up. Add enough barbecue to get your desired meat to sauce ratio. Cook for another hour on low.
Step 4: Enjoy!
Eat it however you like, in a sandwich, with mashed potatoes, or just plain, it's all good.

I recommend RED sweet vermouth instead of the root beer.
It's not so great for drinkin' but it's great for barbecuin' pork.
I baste my ribs with it in the smoker.
Yum.

This was excellent. Fixed this last week & will not fix BBQ Pork no other way. It had a very good taste. Used 1/2 Barqs Root Beer (2 liter) & Kraft BBQ Sauce. Thanks for posting this recipe.
