Introduction: BEARD TRIMMER BECOMES a MUSIC PLAYER
Though our beard trimmer are not used to produce music but can they even be used to produce music .
so in this article I will tell you how I created MUSIC using my beard trimmer and what's the circuit I designed for it

Step 1: WHAT'S a SPEAKER??
SO if it comes to music our first choices seem to wander around speakers and audio amplifiers . But do we know the basic principle behind working of our speakers .
so first let us understand the underlying principles behind working of a speaker .
Speaker has a small coil and a magnet and a plastic enclosure on it .
Step 2: WORKING PRINCIPLE OF SPEAKER
SO the main working principle is the faradays law of electromagnetic induction.
Lets go a bit deeper
Sounds travels as form of an AC signal or a bidirectional signal and when an AC signal is applied to a coil with permanent magnetic field provided by permanent magnet .
the coil moves back and forth by the law of electromagnetic induction.
Thus it vibrates with an alternating frequency (provided as form of music) . And thus produces MUSIC .
so now we have to think how can we produce music with a beard trimmer .
Step 3: DESIGNING a CIRCUIT
SO first of we have to think rationally that trimmer consist of a motor and motor can run only through a PWM signal so now we have to convert a MUSIC ( AC signal) in PWM signal or encrypt it lol !!!!
BUT jokes apart let me explain you the circuit now .
FIRSTLY we will connect our audio jacks pins with the 10k resistors and then to a 100k potentiometer to adjust the amplitude as per out requirement .
As music signals from our mobile phones are about 1Volt Peak to Peak so we have to amplify it using a OPAMP ( sorry but there is a mistake in schematic the feedback resistor or R5 is 5k), AND now when the signal becomes about peak to peak of 5Volts .
it is then compared using a COMPARATOR. the comparator compares the AC signal with the constant voltage set by voltage divider .
As you can see in the image .
and final stage includes driving the motor using a MOSFET (as switch) .
And voila our musical beard trimmer is ready .
Step 4: WHERE'S THE MUSIC COMING
BUT WAIT YOU MIGHT WHERE'S THE MUSIC COMING FROM
SO TO END THE ARTICLE WITH A FINAL EXPLANATION/.
The main cause of music is the permanent magnet of motor reacting to PWM (variable pulses as per music )
and armatures winding becomes the coil in this case
And even more important are the HUMMING LOSSES in the armature .
SO the motor rotates as per the music and produces a clearly audible music .
