Introduction: BLIND BELT

About: I LOVE SCIENCE....

Blind belt, I tried to designed it for blind people and according to their more basic requirement. my meaning of more basic requirement is that it can sense motion of living beings and distance of obstacle.

Step 1: THINGS YOU NEED...

1. PIR SENSOR
2. HC-SR04
3. ARDUINO NANO AND CONNECTING CABLE.
4. BUZZER
5. FEMALE TO FEMALE JUMPER WIRES
6. SMALL SIZE BOX
SUPER GLUE TO FIX SENSOR.

Step 2: FIRSTLY CUT HOLES FOR SENSORS IN THE BOX

Step 3: FIX SENSOR IN THE BOX USING SUPER GLUE

Step 4: CONNECT SENSORS AND BUZZER TO ARDUINO NANO

SEE THE ABOVE IMAGE FOR CONNECTIONS.

Step 5: NOW CONNECT THE ARDUINO CABLE AND GET READY FOR PROGRAMMING... DON'T REMOVE CABLE FROM ARDUINO....

const int trigPin = 9;

const int echoPin = 10;

int led = 12;

int inputPin = 2;

int val = 0;

short duration;

int distance;

void setup()

{

pinMode(trigPin, OUTPUT);

pinMode(echoPin, INPUT);

pinMode(led, OUTPUT);

pinMode(inputPin, INPUT);

Serial.begin(9600);

}

void loop()

{

digitalWrite(trigPin, LOW);

delayMicroseconds(2);

digitalWrite(trigPin, HIGH);

delayMicroseconds(10);

digitalWrite(trigPin, LOW);

duration = pulseIn(echoPin, HIGH);

distance= duration*0.034/2;

val = digitalRead(inputPin);

Serial.print("Distance: ");

Serial.println(distance);

if ((val == HIGH && distance > 1 && distance < 100))

{

digitalWrite(led,HIGH);

delay(1000);

digitalWrite(led,LOW);

delay(500);

}

else

{

digitalWrite(led, LOW);

}

if ((val == LOW && distance > 1 && distance < 100 ))

{

digitalWrite(led,HIGH);

delay(100);

digitalWrite(led,LOW);

delay(100);

}

else

{

digitalWrite(led, LOW);

}

if (val == HIGH )

{

Serial.print("high");

}

else

{

Serial.print("low ");

}

}

Step 6: CONNECT ARDUINO CABLE TO MOBILE PHONE WITH THE HELP OF OTG

TO POWER UP ARDUINO I USE MOBILE WHICH WORKS PERFECTLY....

Step 7: ITS ALL DONE....YOUR PROJECT IS READY ADD AN STICKER TO ATTACH IT TO YOUR BELT..

THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TRIED TO MAKE

I WILL ABSOLUTELY MAKES FURTHER IMPROVEMENT IN THIS..

THANK YOU....
